Speaka provides a platform for speakers to create professional profiles, manage their speaking business, connect with event organizers, and grow their speaking careers. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Speaker profile creation and management
  • AI-powered content creation tools
  • Professional PDF and media kit generation
  • Testimonial collection and display
  • Digital product sales capabilities
  • Speaking fee calculator and resources

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any changes to your information
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Speaka. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our services.

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
  • Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Contains malware or harmful code

5. AI-Generated Content

Speaka offers AI-powered features to help you create content, including bios, presentation descriptions, and other materials. By using these features, you understand and agree that:

  • No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use.
  • Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the final content you publish or share, regardless of whether it was AI-generated or AI-assisted.
  • Not Professional Advice: AI-generated content does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or other specialized advice.
  • Third-Party AI Services: Our AI features are powered by third-party services (such as OpenAI). Your use of AI features is also subject to their terms and policies.
  • Content Ownership: You retain ownership of the final content you create using our AI tools, but you grant us the right to use anonymized data to improve our services.

We are not liable for any damages, losses, or consequences resulting from your use of AI-generated content.

6. Subscription and Payment

Some features of Speaka require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
  • Provide valid payment information
  • Authorize recurring charges for subscription renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refund Policy

  • Monthly Subscriptions: You may request a full refund within 48 hours of your initial purchase or renewal
  • Annual Subscriptions: You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal

To request a refund, contact us at support@speaka.io. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

7. Free Trial

We may offer free trials of our premium services. Free trials are subject to these terms:

  • One free trial per person/household
  • We may require payment information to start a trial
  • You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel
  • We reserve the right to modify or terminate trial offers

8. Intellectual Property

The Speaka platform, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Speaka and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our platform or content
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use our trademarks without written permission
  • Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Scrape or collect data without permission
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use automated systems to access the service without permission
  • Engage in any activity that could harm other users

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the service will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and content
  • You remain liable for any outstanding payments

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

We do not guarantee any specific results from using our tools, including the speaking fee calculator, which provides estimates for informational purposes only.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPEAKA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

Our total liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Speaka and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
